Blonde, tall, and well-built, Erik is a Galen as fearsome as any. He wears Galen chainmail, and carries the usual axe alongside a cleaver-sized dagger decorated with feathers and bone fetishes. He's tough to peg as a wizard--until he summons an elemental.

History:
Erik was apprenticed in his youth to the weather-wizard of his Galen tribe, and was taught the ways of the wind and waves. His job was to serve as windworker on board his family's raiding ship. Unfortunately, on his first voyage (a raid onto the Lirrish coast) his master was killed, and Erik was badly wounded and left for dead.

A local family nursed him back to health, and Erik came to realize that there was more to life than raiding and pillaging. He has not returned to Galen lands, choosing instead to see what else the worlds have to offer.

Erik is quite confident in his abilities, both to cast spells and dish out more typical Galen-style punishment. Coupled with a very non-Galen curiosity about how the worlds work, he's an adventurer to the core.

His dagger, Rimefang, was forged by the giants of the north (and so in human hands is more of a short sword), and grants a variety of bonuses to Erik when he's in arctic terrain. In addition, it can physically sever a magical enchantment, countering an active spell.
